Other credits include the stage premiere of How To Lose Friends And Alienate People(with Jack Davenport at Soho Theatre and at The Arts Theatre with Toby Young ); Pete And Dud: Come Again (Leicester Square Theatre); Hardeep Singh Kohli’s Indian Takeaway (national tour) Grumpy Old Women: Chin Up Britain (Novello Theatre & national tour), Boom (BeMe Theatre, Munich);Touchby Bill Dare (Pleasance, Edinburgh); Chat Masala and The Nearly Naked Chef (both with Hardeep Singh Kohli - national tours); The Lady of Burma (Riverside Studios & National Tour); an open-air A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Abney Park Cemetery, London); and Got To Be Happy (Bush Theatre, London).

Owen also worked with comedian Stewart Lee on Johnson & Boswell: Late But Live (Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh & Scottish tour) and the sequel, Elizabeth & Raleigh: Late But Live (National Tour & Bloomsbury Theatre), both shows featuring the comedians Simon Munnery and Miles Jupp.

He has also been a recipient of the RSC Buzz Goodbody Director’s Award.
